Nyagidha Education Center- believe and achieve!
The school was started in February 2010 by Wesley United Methodist Church in collaboration with community representatives to provide tertiary education to children from poor backgrounds in the area. The school is a non-profit venture and operates from donations from well-wishers.
Over the years, the school has continued to perform well and the student numbers have grown, largely due to the need to provide continuous education as the children progress from lower-level classes to higher-level classes before completing Primary school education.

Here's what Nyagidha alumni say

"As an undergraduate at Jomo Kenyatta University pursuing a degree in Public Health, I am deeply grateful for the strong foundation that was laid during my formative years. My journey to higher education began at Nyagidha Education Centre, a place that not only nurtured my academic abilities but also shaped my social and spiritual growth. The school played a pivotal role in instilling discipline, curiosity, and a love for learning, which have been instrumental in my success so far.
Thanks to the solid academic foundation I received at Nyagidha Education Centre, I was able to excel in my primary education, which opened the doors to Agoro Sare High School, one of the top secondary schools in the country. My time at Agoro Sare further honed my skills and prepared me for the challenges of university life.
I owe a great deal of my achievements to Nyagidha Education Centre, where I was not only taught to strive for academic excellence but also to uphold strong moral values. The school’s holistic approach to education has been a guiding light throughout my journey, and I am proud to carry forward the lessons I learned there. I am confident that the foundation I received will continue to propel me toward greater heights in my academic and professional pursuits. Thank you, Nyagidha Education Centre, for shaping the person I am today!"

Thank you for fostering my growth, inspiring curiosity, and creating memories I’ll cherish forever. Nyagidha will always hold a special place in my heart—here’s to shaping futures with the same passion and care!"

As I reflect on my educational journey, I am filled with deep gratitude for the strong foundation laid during my time at Nyagidha Education Centre. My primary education there was more than just academics—it was a nurturing environment that instilled in me the values of discipline, hard work, and perseverance. The dedicated teachers and supportive staff played a pivotal role in shaping my character and preparing me for future challenges. I successfully completed my Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (K.C.P.E.) exams with 309 marks—a performance I remain proud of, thanks to the guidance of the staff led by then Headteacher, Mr. Duncan Kiche.
After primary school, I joined Oriwo Boys High School, where I continued to build upon the strong academic and moral foundation I had received. My high school years were transformative, pushing me to grow not only academically but also personally. The experiences and lessons I gained—both inside and outside the classroom—taught me the importance of resilience, teamwork, and leadership.
Today, I am proud to be a student at KCA University, where I am pursuing a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification and a Bachelor of Commerce degree. This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support and mentorship I received at Nyagidha Education Centre. The values and knowledge imparted to me during those formative years continue to guide my academic journey and personal development.
