Current Elementary School Goals

Other than the construction of Junior High School, here are some goals for the current elementary school:

1. Paying the teachers minimum salaries to be compliant with labor laws this for eight teachers would result in annual cost of US$3,840 and would enable the school recruit and retain good caliber teachers. Currently there is a constant exodus of teachers looking for greener pastures which has negative repercussions for the students.

2. Reinstate the feeding program at an annual cost of US$ 4,528.

3. Replace the desks and lockers for students at a cost of US$ 3,200.

4. Replace the playing equipment locally from homa bay (metal ones) at an estimated cost of US$2,515.

5. Recruitment of a Superintendent and paying the current manager who has worked pro bono for over 10 years and needs a successor estimated cost of US$2,280.
